I hope you don't mind me plugging my wife's book. She contributed to an anthology called "Scribbling Women and the Real Life Romance Heroes who Love Them." In there is a short story about how we first met.
I haven't read it yet, so I'm not sure how revealing it is. If you SUDDENLY see this post removed, that means I've discovered it was filled with embarrassing stuff I don't want you knowing about.
All proceeds go to a charity called "Women in Need".
Reading this half awake, my brain seemed to process things in parts and first thing I took in was "I hope you don't mind me plugging my wife..." and I initially thought "whoa keep it in the sheets" (damn my perverted brain...) But awe... sweet sweet love. I think the embarrassing stuff just comes as a whole package of great relationships. Embrace it, but I guess us men prefer to keep them private.
Anyway long time fan here, I started following you since your Logan ABC's I think.. or was it before that.... never commented much cause I always felt I'll just get drowned out among your many awesome followers. You and your works are a great inspiration and influence to me. You're definitely on the top most of my list of Artists I'd want to meet 1st chance I get to get where-ever event it is you'd be available and I'd be able to.
Awesome! I hope her book does well.
BTW it was nice chatting to you in London at Orbital Comics (we spoke about the advantage of the writer and illustrator being the same person and your drawing school).
Hope the rest of your London trip went well.
Congrats to you both!
