Because I can't post anything for American Vampire, I figured I throw in some warm up sketches.

These are my favorites--some of them adjusted a bit in PS. BELIEVE ME I wish all my warm ups came out like these, but you'll never see the stuff in my trash.

Usually I'll grab my girlfriend's VOGUE and sketch down a few of the photos. I mostly draw women because I'm trying to get better at them. Maybe once or twice a week I'll do this.

I like the way you draw. Drawing girls is hard, but its fun because there's nothing better. Do you go to life drawing? if not, do. if so, do more. :)
Vogue will only get you so far, when you have to draw a real life three dimensional, breathing, model your lines and movement open up and you can really delicately describe the form.
anyway.
keep it up, you are a champ.

That's a good idea, I spend more of my 'warm up' thinking what I want to draw than actually drawing. Awesome sketches by the way.
