that is pretty freaking awesome. makes me feel bad for dropping out lol. I was curious about you favorite artists though cause I love how you combine inkwash and traditional inking together seamlessly.
I think I will take some time and look up some of these artists. many I am familiar with but others like JP Leon, Jorge Zaffino, Rick Leonardi and Toppi, I have never heard of.

Man this piece is amazing . . . I love how freakin huge the closet looks - really captures the mood of what he must be feeling.
I really like your ink wash method too - your inks are slick!
Total noob question but when you have your rough pencils laid down - do you add your grey ink wash tones down first and then do your inked linework? Or linework first - then tones?
Either way - great stuff as always.

All the answers are inside you. Why should you trust other's judgments over yours?

Also, JP Leon, Jorge Zaffino, Rick Leonardi, Toppi, Chris Ware, Craig Thompson, Tim Sale, Ashley Wood, and a ton of others.
Also, I might be coming by the school sometime in Jan after the holidays to meet with the 2nd and 3rd year students.
