Vitality of the cartoon characters in the expression, let I really want to see side of the continuity of impulse! This is a story of how?

Oh, thank you very much! Sorry, but what is a quill? A simple pen or a pen nib?

Hi Sean! First: amazing work! Second: I've a question... For the straight lines usually which tool do you use? Always the brush ( maybe with a rule) or any rapidograph?

I'm trying to do the same lines with only one gesture, but I'm failing...probably it's because I haven't yet this skill!

Straight lines are usually a quill with a ruler, but the ruler is tipped at 45 degrees.

Nice shading and light/dark contrast, especially for inks.

I don't know how much you changed the story over the years, but this scene was clearly always important to you. Seeing that printed must have felt pretty good, man!

This is one of my favorite pages of yours. Extremely solid, the camera angles chosen are very effective - I don't even need the speech balloons to understand the action.

Thanks! I'm surprised because this page has no big "money shot".

Money shots don't make storytelling, as you well know. :D

What interests me is the events and the situation - not the art. That's not to say your art isn't well done or visually interesting - it definitely is - but on this page I think it's serving its intended purpose so well (that is, telling the story) that I'm not consciously aware of its presence. I'm just in the story.

In my opinion, that's the goal of all great comic book art. And this page has got it! That's why I love it.

Fantastic page! Awesome weighting of the tones and flow to the panels! Really dig the kid and fathers expressions in the mid and lower frames!

My shop will be holding one for me, but will probably get another from you personally at Comic-con. Also, will you be selling any of the original pages from PRJ? And if so, what is the price range?

Yes, everything is for sale. From $150 to $500 for interiors mostly.

I loved the old ones because of the ink wash. but these definitely have the new Sean Murphy flare. Either way I dig it. Can't wait to read this.

I agree. The old ones looked amazing in their own right, but probably wouldn't fit in with the look of the book as we've seen so far.

These are just as great. I do miss the inkwash, though.
