Take a look at *seangordonmurphy's work and there's a good chance you'll be blown away by the breathtaking pieces he produces. Joe the Barbarian page 11 is simply stunning. The flow of the page is striking, the clever placing of objects, particularly the stairs, shows how much thought and effort has gone into the production of this beautiful page. The blacks and the transition from second to third panel is absolutely amazing, not to mention the details which are impressive! ( Featured by kangel )

I got my hardcopy of Joe a while ago. So glad some bonus material was included! That's my favourite part after the story itself. What was the most amazing experience I had is reading your notes to pages. Every second time I said to myself: "That is exactly what I thought looking at this page!" What a wonderful feeling, really.

I'm not sure if someone might have asked this already, but have you always done your own inks? I'm always very taken by just how sharp your work is.

Beh, I missed this one.
But yes, I'm loving all of these pages...they have that dramatic cinematic feel to them.
...Also, you have conveyed the main emotion of the page very clearly. :C

Clever use of the shadow in the main panel, could be Joe... or could be something else. ;0

Look, I realise that I'm commenting on all of your stuff as if I'm an obsessive, but there are few artists out there who consistently produce jaw-dropping material. This is just gorgeous. Beautiful art.

What strikes me about your pages is the amount of thought that is evidently going into each one. The composition and flow of the shadows, the angles you choose, and crucially, the amount of detail necessary for each element which you judge so well are the things that make your pages true works of art.

So Joe's out now, yeah? I need this book.
