I don't want to post too many of these pages because I don't want to ruin the story. I've got 8 pages left and had to post SOMETHING so that people wouldn't think I was getting lazy.

Pretty happy with John's darker facial features. I want him to retain a little of that "odd" magical element in his eyes.

I find myself getting more and more gritty with faces and details and using thumbprints and smudges in shadows. To me, issue 245 and 246 are going to look a LOT different. Hopefully people will still dig them both.

Oh, and I don't like repeating panels but the script is calling for it.

I have to say that your ink work and lines really inspire me. Thanks for posting this stuff!
I call myself an inker but you always put my work to shame. I don't like you. :D
Still loving your "Blackspotting". See what I did there? Sorta like "Trainspotting", but...er...

Aw, hell. Forget it.

Hey, remember when Totleben was doing John and he looked like Sting? ;-)

Very nicely done, sir!

damn do I have a lot to learn.....
This is fantastic work as always.

How does Jason Aaron handle Constantine in his scripts by the way?

I'm not looking for spoilers or anything like that, it's just that Jason's one of my favorite writers and Hellblazer has been one of my favorite comics since andy diggle took over and i was curious as to what you thought of his scripts.
You really are quite the teacher kind... if we could grasp at least a little bit of your teachings... -sigh-
As for your concerns... I think, without fear, that if the script is up to the art... the this will be a new mayor time for John and Co. ... a new classic...
-no smilies on this one, I really have a great feeling about what you do, and I trust Hellblazer fans, they're mostly smart people with good sense-
Cheers!

Commissions from the 31st Century!
You get the award for most intense "nose" page out there. Gritty stuff! These issues can't hit the stands fast enough.
