Artist's Comments

Wasn't in the mood to draw Circus Station in London again, so I did a cheat by using lots of black and a bus to hide the mayhem.

Pretty happy with the acting on the bottom.

Yeah, I guess you really only need to draw Circus street station once to get the picture! Hey, I meant to ask you who your editor was on this book?

Yeah, I really enjoy your pages; and yes, the acting is definitely a bonus. Often, we'd see characters standing pretty, posing...in many of your pages they seem to be doing something, in the middle of thinking a thought... or in the case of Helldude, ...uhm, sneezing. These little touches are definitely worth the effort, since they just leap out at the viewer. :D It's like frosting with sprinkles on an otherwise already excellent muffin.

Thing is, if you chew up the scenery with every light bulb in Circus Station every single time, it would tend to fall away in the reader's mind, and you'd have done all the work for nothing.

Again, I thought you did the bus thing on purpose for "storytelling reasons". Am I your alibi or what?

Panel 4 (next to last) is my favorite. Totally get what the characters are feeling in one quick view.

Nice, sir.
