mate theyre really impressive.
after seeing your pics i tried to find out what books youve drawn and came across a newsarama interview where it was said there were some hellblazer fans that were a little angry how you made him look older...

dunno about them, and ive never read it before, but after seeing your art i definitely want to pick it up! (and other books drawn by you)

best

THanks for defending it man. It seems like only a few people are hardcore fans that see him only a certain way. :)

I've ever only had a passing interest in this character, but after seeing your stuff I'm definitely going to have to pick up a trade or two. I love the dirty unkempt feeling in the inks.

Can I just say something? Your work is so good, so inspiring that makes me want to do some comics too. I was so insecure about myself, about what I really wanted to do... but now I'm just in love with the possibility of doing some pages and tell a story, thanks to you, man... :thanks: You are trully awesome! :D

thats cool.
how many hours do you usually work in a day? do you have a set schedule or just go at it till you've had enough.
i find it hard to not have a schedule.if i dont lay down times to where i need to be workin i get sidetracked or somethin fucks my schedule up.

Big time important to have a schedule. I function best when I've slept well and am rolling by early in the morning. But some guys work through the night.

yeah i know.i cant do it.im definitely not a night person myself.im the same way.i like to get started early and try to atleast act like it would be a normal workday and relax in the evenings.
anyway, stuff looks good

page looks amazing, as usual. i really like how you had that little detail of not having both of constantine's legs over the railing, but rather having one kinda wrapped through it.

I take that to mean you physically apply zip-a-tone? Which is what I was gonna post and ask.

We need more PRJ, by the way. The pages on that look great. Si PRJ what KAEL ended up turning into over time?
Reply
:iconseangordonmurphy:
seangordonmurphy Featured By Owner Aug 15, 2008
OH! Yeah, I used computer for the zip. I thought you meant applying digital inks or something. And the deal with Kael/PRJ is that Kael didn't work as a plot so I combined it with another script I had, PRJ. And it ended up working out better.

hahaha im not:) i know its really a hard thing to get used to, and its a different feeling but to say it with adam hughes words;"its just another tool, that you use for your art".

I just got in touch with digital inking, and in the beginning i thought i was a traitor on traditional art, and stuff like that, but the more i learned about it the more i enjoyed it. it really can save you some time...ok i got to admit now i sound like one of these evil demon guys:D

A computer might be just another tool to use, but nothing will ever be as fun as getting messy with a page and the happy accidents that come from it.
