One thing in comics that's harder to do than it should be: making your cover match the interior. I think it's because covers are solicited so early now, that often times artist have to fudge them because they don't know what the story is. That's how it was on Joe the Barbarian for sure. Snyder is different because I have a whole outline when I need it, allowing me to do the classic "this is what is inside this issue" style cover. This was the scene I picked for cover 3.

Killer. One of those comics that really shows why pen drawings persist in comics, even with the advent of quick digital painting. Nothing beats those harsh expanses of chiseled black for making a clear, graphically striking statement.

Gosh, I have been getting AV since it came out and I loved Joe the Barbarian. When I got Survival of the Fittest I completely crapped my pants. You're on my list of artists and writers I will follow anywhere and no matter how ass-broke I am I scrape up the money to pay for my comics so you guys can keep doing what you do.
